About Ms. Elsner:
My name is Emily Elsner, and I am one of the math teachers at Edgewood Middle School. I graduated from St. Catherine University in the spring of 2016 with a degree in secondary math education. In the Summer of 2019, I received my Masters Degree in Education from Hamline Education. Prior to teaching at Edgewood, I student taught at Battle Creek Middle School in St. Paul.
I grew up in Connecticut, and fell in love with Minnesota during my time in college. This is my fourth year teaching at Edgewood, and I am very excited for the year to come!
Outside of school I enjoy spending time with family, friends, and my cat Olly. During the summer months I will try to be on the water as much as possible swimming and paddle boarding. During the winter months you can find me on the ski slopes and out ice fishing. It is important to have a hobby for all of the extreme Minnesota seasons.
